Beachcombing

Shirt draped over a driftwood log on the beach at Olympic National Park

Our landlocked visitors were particularly interested in seeing the Pacific Ocean, so we spent quite a bit of time on the beach during their visit. Having lived near (or on) the ocean for most of our lives, F & I generally take the beach for granted, but we had such a nice time there that we've resolved to get out to it more often.

Rocks collected on the beach with F's niece

Puget Sound: our guests went crabbing!

cool beach pictures! i think R and i take it for granted, too. i have to admit, he does like it when we do go. i'm glad that you and F had such a nice time.

this is more in response to your last post, but i did have some lavender ice cream over the weekend. it was a lavender vanilla ice cream pie on a chocolate graham crust. yum!

I am so missing the beach!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I could go to the Atlantic ...like Jersey or something....but I don't think the Atlantic is going to be near as pretty as the Pacific. Now I'm homesick!

You know...you really shouldn't get topless and leave your clothes hanging around driftwood. Someone might steal them!

With two of your pictures you have half the cast of SpongeBob! Patrick and Mr. Krabs! All you need now is an irritated squid and an overzealous sponge! That will be your assignment for next time!
